Creation: God Makes
When God created the world and all that was in it, He declared it “good.” When God fashioned humanity with his own metaphorical hands He said, mankind was “exceedingly good.” We learned last week that through “GENERAL REVELATION” one thing that expresses God’s character and beauty and intellect and power is His creation. Indeed it IS beautiful, and humanity is imbued with God’s image and likeness, and is His highest form of creation!
But here’s the problem, so many people in our culture have twisted this innate revelation of God, by worshipping the creation INSTEAD of the Creator. The most beautiful thing God ever made is the human body, and the apex of paganism, which is worshiping creation rather than Creator – Because here’s the key: We’re ALL worshipers.
