Dealing With Sin in the Church<\/span><\/h3>

15\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cIf your brother or sister[a<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0sins,[b<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0go and point out their fault,\u00a0just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.<\/span><\/span>\u00a016\u00a0<\/sup>But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that \u2018every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.\u2019[c<\/a>]<\/sup><\/span><\/span>\u00a017\u00a0<\/sup>If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church;\u00a0and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

18\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cTruly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[d<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[e<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0loosed in heaven.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

19\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cAgain, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them\u00a0by my Father in heaven.<\/span><\/span>\u00a020\u00a0<\/sup>For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>
