{"id":12971,"date":"2020-11-17T00:58:28","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T00:58:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mpcbc.net\/english\/?post_type=sermon&#038;p=12971"},"modified":"2021-08-12T14:49:53","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T22:49:53","slug":"i-am-victorious","status":"publish","type":"sermon","link":"https:\/\/mpcbc.net\/english\/sermon\/i-am-victorious\/","title":{"rendered":"I Am: Victorious"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I Am: Victorious<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>The Armor of God<\/p><p><sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>Finally, be strong in the Lord\u00a0and in his mighty power.\u00a0<sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>Put on the full armor of God,\u00a0so that you can take your stand against the devil\u2019s schemes.\u00a0<sup>12\u00a0<\/sup>For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,\u00a0but against the rulers, against the authorities,\u00a0against the powers\u00a0of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.\u00a0<sup>13\u00a0<\/sup>Therefore put on the full armor of God,\u00a0so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.\u00a0<sup>14\u00a0<\/sup>Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist,\u00a0with the breastplate of righteousness in place,\u00a0<sup>15\u00a0<\/sup>and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.\u00a0<sup>16\u00a0<\/sup>In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,\u00a0with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.\u00a0<sup>17\u00a0<\/sup>Take the helmet of salvation\u00a0and the sword of the Spirit,\u00a0which is the word of God.<\/p><p><sup>18\u00a0<\/sup>And pray in the Spirit\u00a0on all occasions\u00a0with all kinds of prayers and requests.\u00a0With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying\u00a0for all the Lord\u2019s people.\u00a0<sup>19\u00a0<\/sup>Pray also for me,\u00a0that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly\u00a0make known the mystery\u00a0of the gospel,\u00a0<sup>20\u00a0<\/sup>for which I am an ambassador\u00a0in chains.\u00a0Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.<\/p><cite>Ephesians 6: 10-24<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re at WAR!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many believers are under the mistaken impression that Christian life should be all lollipops and unicorns. The truth is, we are in a war against a real enemy that is trying to take us and our families and our witness down\u2014emotionally, relationally, financially, and spiritually. What we tend to do in those moments is look up and ask, \u201cGod, where are you? I thought you were good.\u201d What we need to understand is that it\u2019s not just us and God. There\u2019s a third variable: Satan and his demons. We are in a war. Do you know your enemy? Do you know your king?
