The Incarnation: God Relates

In Part 7 of the sermon series Essential Doctrines of the Faith, we look at The Incarnation; how it was foretold, how it happened, and what it means.

The doctrine of incarnation explains God becoming flesh, coming to us as a human in the form of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

In the absence of the incarnation, there would be no redemption; no salvation.  Tune in to find out why the incarnation is such an important doctrine of our faith.

Greetings, Friends!

A random question for you this morning, are you a “meat-eater”?  Or are you a vegetarian or “vegan”? I don’t mean eating meat as a source of protein in a balanced diet kind of meat eater.  I mean are you a committed, passionate, feel-it-in-your-soul, real MEAT EATER? To be totally honest, I really enjoy all kinds of meats: steak, barbecues on the grill, sausages, stir-fry, beef, chicken, pork  . . . AND , of course, BACON… the king of all meats!

This Sunday at Connect, we will be discussing meat . . . well actually “carne” as in Carne Asada, Chili con Carne, Carne Guisada.  And specifically in our “Essential Doctrines of the Faith Series”, we will be looking at the Doctrine of the “INCARNATION” That God came “in flesh” to show us God and die on the cross for our sin. So this is not some random, irrelevant doctrine!  Jesus, the God-Man, HAD to be fully God and fully man, to serve as a sacrifice for human beings for the propitiation of their sins.  Come and worship with us on March 14th right here: https://youtu.be/dp4D9KNrT68 at 11 AM for Connect Worship.

****ALSO, important reminder, you need to turn your clocks forward for Daylight savings time!!! ****
