Hello Friends. I was reading an article on a website out of the UK (https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/coronavirus/nurturing-our-relationships-during-coronavirus-pandemic) about the importance of human interaction in coping with the isolation due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The author of the article states “Five quick tips for nurturing healthy relationships.” It states that we should proactively: “Give time, Be present, Listen, Let yourself be listened to, and Recognise unhealthy relationships.” Not bad advice. The truth is BEING an authentic friend is an important life skill all the time, especially during the broadest and most life-altering pandemic in our life time in the United States.
This Sunday August 2nd, I will once again be preaching from the Book of Proverbs, and once again we will be seeing how “God’s How-to Manual” gives us excellent advice for living wisely. This time my sermon is titled, “HOW TO BE AN AUTHENTIC FRIEND.” You can worship with us at 11 AM (PST) on our YouTube Channel here: https://youtu.be/fpaBemvpwzw
