Have you ever seen a kid that has been adopted? Their whole WORLD changes! For the most part it is a very positive change. They have a new hope and new name. But here is a reality you may not be aware of. As a Christian, you’ve been adopted by God the Father, given a new identity, and welcomed into a family with Jesus as your big Brother. You’ve been adopted to worship.
This same adoption enables you to not engage in sinful behavior. But as an adopted child you will desire to imitate God, your Father, by walking in love as children of light, discerning what pleases him, making the best use of time, being filled with the Spirit, giving thanks, and submitting to one another.
